Washington County contracts with Ride Connection, Inc. to operate six Community and Job Connector Shuttle services and one Microtransit service inside the TriMet Service District. Community and Job Connector Shuttles are a right-sized (often 14-passenger) public transportation option that fil service gaps by connecting community members and employees to the larger transit network on a deviated fixed-route. Microtransit is another public transportation option allowing riders to use a phone app or other technology to schedule a ride in a multi-passenger vehicle from their location. The vehicle route is determined by the places passengers need to go. These services are free and open to all community members.
